What Am I?

Firstly some glossary to help you through the post :
1. FOBS - Fresh Off The Boat (usually refers to immigrants - search urban dictionary)
2. Banana - White on the inside , Yellow on the outside
3. ABC - American/Australian born chinese (usually refers to Asians who are born in a western culture)
4. White Wash - An Asian whom totally throw away their Asian heritage and culture to be ''westernize''

*An important point of note is to never refer a white person as white or caucasian but ''Western'' is more of an appropriate word*
*And never by all means refer to all Asians as Chinese or you'll have my fist at your chin''

This is the toughest question I find myself running in circles trying to find an answer. I am a Malaysian Chinse BUT I speak English most of the time (not because I am in Australia now) but the fact that it is my most spoken language throughout the day even in Malaysia. It was really normal among my circle of friends whom I had great times with back in Malaysia. No matter the skin colour or culture , we speak English and we embrace both the Asian and Western culture at the same time.

I enjoyed both the Asian culture and Western culture but never take any of them too seriously. Moreover being a multilingual and meeting people from various countries , people found it weird I can converse in various languages just out of the blue without any difficulty switching between them continuously. The upper hand to a multilingual is that I get to know every little bit of any other language enough to ''get into trouble'' if you get what I meant.

Being overseas , I met different people here and there. In addition to that it broaden up my view on the world. I have to say that I am constantly getting barrage by different culture practices and by all means it is not fun getting stereotype by people. I haven't met any Americans yet but I have met a few Europeans - Londoners and Germans and found them to be quite acceptable and tolerant of other races. In fact I found some western people who actually practices the Asian culture which is kinda cool and refreshing to see once in awhile.

This post is getting kinda long and I'll break it apart for the next post. And lastly , my definition and stereotype of Americans in the 21st century.

First Entry - Introduction

Somehow I just got the sudden urge to pickup my keyboard and start typing/blogging again. It's been a long time since I left the blogging scene. Looking back , my old blog ''Which was crippled'' by me due to the fact that it consist most of my immature complaints and stuff. Moreover I think that by blogging , I can express and share my thoughts and also an opportunity to improvise my English. I know that I can't satisfy everyone with my post and I am not asking you to but I guess most of the post will be on what I have experience , read about , piece together into a single form of entry. Then again look forward to my post and do enjoy them and again sharing opinions are good.
